South Division

Mediocre may be the best way to describe the teams in the South division. No one really stands out, but to that end, this means every team will have a chance to make a play for the division title. Arizona has the experience, but do they have the talent to win the division again?

Albuquerque Atoms
Offense: average
Defense: average
Overall: average
The Atoms have both a lot of good players, and a lot of holes. They should be in a lot of close games this season, but it will come down to how they can finish games. They will be a threat with their offense, but they will need the defense to step up in big moments. The Atoms will be in the conversation for the division title towards the end of the season.

Arizona Eagles
Offense: average
Defense: average
Overall: average
The Eagles will once again be right in the race for winning the division once we get to the final weeks of the season. I would say they took another step back on both sides of the ball this season. The offense is questionable at best, but not bad. The defense has some good players, and should really help them out in some divisional games this season.

Dallas Regulators
Offense: poor
Defense: poor
Overall: poor
It’s not looking too good for Dallas this season. There isn’t too much for this team to be optimistic about. I’d say they have a ceiling of 7 wins, but they could be a surprise, especially in the division they are in.

San Antonio Texans
Offense: poor
Defense: poor
Overall: poor
Despite the on paper ratings, this team does have potential. The run game looks solid, and they should be alright at quarterback. The defense is not terribly bad either. The Texans may be able to surprise some people, but will they be good enough to win the division, or make a wild card spot?
